We will simply paste your cell-phone number, the IP number and the method to use IP dialing on the back of the cell-phone. Therefore, it is unlikely to be forgotten. 2,How do my friends call my China cell phone from USA ?

In order to call to your China cell phone number from the USA , the correct sequence is 011-86, then the China cell phone number including the area code (ex. 011-86-13581113333). Please be sure to inform anyone who has your China cell phone number as to the proper dialing sequence in order to insure you receive your calls. To call numbers within China , make sure that you call the proper city code.

3,How to call back to USA with my China cell phone?

To call the United States from your cell phone while in China, you will save money by using IP dialing. If you need to dial directly, you must dial 00, the country code (1), city/area code and phone number (ex.00-1-212-555-1212).


4,How to use IP dialing?

IP dialing uses Internet telephony to make phone calls at a fraction of the cost of using regular phone systems. There are two access numbers for IP dialing.
To make an international call to the U.S. , dial 17901 (or 17951) + 001 + area code + destination number
Sometimes when dialing 17901 the IP phone line is busy. If so, please attempt using 17951 instead or re-attempt again or later.

The SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card also known as a "smart chip" is basically the "brain" of the phone, providing cellular service as well as many other functions including call log, voice mail and SMS and GPRS (internet connection standards). SIM cards are the size of a credit card but they have a pop-out chip about the size of a postage stamp. The smart chip is embedded with circuitry and when inserted into a mobile phone provides wireless phone service on a particular network. SIM cards are usually available prepaid or on a contractual basis, however TigerPhone only offers the prepaid version which is the most popular because of the user's complete control over how much they spend. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.

Not really. You cannot receive a call with a calling card. Calling cards are a bit risky and often provide poor customer service. With the increasing popularity of mobile phones, it is not uncommon to find broken pay phones.

8,Shall I pay you in advance?

In case of the loss or any damage, you kindly requested to pay $100 as deposit in advance for each cell-phone. The deposit will be refund to you minus the fee for the rental period you requested together with the recharge card fee (if any) upon the successful return of your phone rental unit. Please note late fees may be assessed if applicable.

10,What if my cell phone or SIM card doesn't work?

It is rare that one of our cell phones wouldn't work and extremely rare for a SIM card not to work. We personally test all of our phones prior to sending them out to ensure quality service and no defects. You can double-check this after you receive your cell phone and a SIM card. Simply charge the phone and then see if it powers on. Less than 1% of all cell-cellular phones are defective and less than 1 in 10,000 SIM cards are defective. If for some reason a phone or SIM card purchased proves defective, it will be replaced ASAP. If you encounter problems while on the road, you will first want to determine if the problem is a network problem or if it is hardware-related. If you can use someone else's cell- phone and reproduce the problem, then you should contact the local carrier to see if there is a problem with the network. It is important to remember that your phone rental is measured from the date of your stated arrival in the Beijing until the date it is sent back (not when it arrives) or returned in person.

Yes! All of our cell phones come with a variable-voltage travel charger. Our rental phones are shipped pre-charged.

Your new cell phone number is a local number for the country pertaining to your SIM card. You could know your new cell phone number before you leave home. We will sent an email including your new cell phone number to confirm all information after your payment.

20,Can somebody else use my SIM card?

Anyone can use your card. If you lose your phone with the SIM card inside, you can usually call customer service to deactivate the card so that nobody can use the remaining credit, though they won't be able to issue you a new card. You can also safely lend your phone and SIM card to friends without worrying about incurring any out-of-pocket costs. If they need more talk time, they can simply add some by purchasing a recharge card and using it with your SIM card.

21,If I run out of call credit, do I buy another SIM card?

NO! Remember, the SIM card is the "brains" of your phone and is rechargeable. Once you have a SIM card all you need to do is add credit for more talk time. Make sure that you do not wait beyond the service life of your SIM card to add more call credit.

22,How do I add more "talk time" to my SIM card?

In prepaid phone lingo, adding more talk time is known as "recharging" or "topping-up" a SIM card. Recharging a SIM card is as easy as entering a code number into the handset. Recharge voucher cards with recharge codes on them can be purchased at many convenience stores, magazine kiosks and cell phone stores. As long as your cell phone rental has not been shipped, you will not incur any charges. In the case that your rental has been sent out, you are only responsible for the shipping.

No, we do not, and this is why. Technically, you are purchasing the phone from us and then we are buying it back from you. The vast majority of credit card companies offer their own insurance against loss or damage for purchases, but usually not for rentals. Therefore, and given this premise, you are already covered for accidental loss or damage...at no extra charge!

28,I live in the LA area. Can I pickup a rental or make a purchase at your offices?

At present, we just provide Cell-phone rental and related services for foreigners who will have Beijing as their first travel destination in China. We only take online purchasing and accept credit cards online with PayPal.
